Privacy notice
Last updated October 19, 2026
This notice explains the information used when you visit the DisasterSignal coming-soon website or request one email when the web app launches. The website is not yet an emergency-alert service.
Launch notification email
If you choose to subscribe, you provide your email address so we can send one notification when the DisasterSignal web app launches. This is not a newsletter or a subscription to product updates. Our email service provider, EmailOctopus, processes and stores signup information and handles subscription emails and unsubscribes. Its forms may perform anti-abuse checks and may ask you to confirm your subscription.
This mailing list does not send emergency alerts. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or ask us about your subscription at hello@disastersignal.com.
Website delivery and technical data
The website is hosted by Vercel. When you access it, the hosting provider and your browser exchange technical information needed to deliver the page and protect against abuse, such as network requests and IP-related connection information. External services used on the page may process technical data under their own policies. We do not sell email addresses collected for the launch notification.
Retention and your choices
Subscription information is retained as needed to manage the mailing list, honor unsubscribe requests, and meet applicable requirements. You may ask about access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing hello@disastersignal.com. Some limited records may need to be retained to respect opt-out preferences or legal obligations.
Updates and questions
This notice may change as DisasterSignal develops. We will update the date above when it does. For privacy inquiries, contact hello@disastersignal.com.
